SJ 101 – NEW MEMBER ORIENTATION

New member classes will be held on Sunday, October 4 & 18 at 9:45am; with a New Member Reception on October 25. * Please mark the attendance sheet if you plan to attend.

BETHANY LUTHERAN CLEAN UP DAY

Join us for a clean up day! October 3 from 9:30am — 12:00pm. Volunteer and make a difference. Lunch provided.

BOOK CLUB

Bad Blood: Secrets and Lies in a Silicon Valley Startup by John Carreyrou. Discussion on October 22 at 9:15am

CELEBRATION DINNER

OCTOBER 10: A celebration dinner and a congregational meeting with a vote to retire our debt will take place on Saturday, October 10 after worship (6:30pm).
There will also be a reception between services on Sunday, October 11.

OCT. 10 CELEBRATION DINNER LAST WEEKEND TO RSVP

We will need reservations for dinner to ensure we have plenty of food. PLEASE RSVP by Monday. You can mark the attendance sheet or email / call the church office.

BETHANY LUTHERAN HALLOWEEN

Bethany’s annual Halloween Trick-or-Treating will be on October 30, from 6:30-7:30pm across both its Bethan Home and Bethany Heights campuses. We have learned from previous years that this event is very popular! We will be collecting candy until Oct. 28 to donate to this fun event. If you would like to help, please drop off candy in the bins located outside the church office. Everyone is welcome to attend Trick-or-Treating! The residents enjoy passing out candy.

MITTEN 1 COAT TREE

will be placed by the library to start collecting winter items for Bloomer and New Visions. Items will be collected until October 25.

NO PLAYERS OR GOOD TIME GROUP

gatherings in October, please attend the Celebration Dinner. Groups will meet for fellowship in November.

TAKING FAITH HOME

Taking Faith Home is a great way to continue your Bible studies each day.
